Sarajevo to Mostar
More nice windy roads today. It was only 70km from Sarajevo to Mostar, but the trip took us the long way over some windy mountain roads. On arrival we wandered on to the old part of town and examined the Mostar Bridge - the central focus of the town which was of course bombed and badly damaged during the recent war. It has been rebuilt in the original style sonce and is looking spectacular. Tomorrow there is a Red Bull diving competition off the bridge as we are heading out of town to Montenegro....

You have GOT to be kidding. Surely they don't dive off that Red Bull Tower. Love the photos though, what contrasts, the beautiful buildings look like they are in the middle of open country. Looks and sounds like you're having a fab time. Cheers Les and Brent
ReplyDeleteYep the competitors werre in town to do it the next day. 1 Jumped off while we werre around, but I was too busy "rehydrating"....
